Ben has been in the
real estate business for over thirty years. He entered the real estate business in 1977 buying homes, refurbishing them, and leasing them.
In 1981, he took a job as a broker with a regional commercial real estate brokerage firm. Ben was awarded Rookie of the Year in 1982 and Top Producer Awards
for six consecutive years. He completed his first project in 1987 and has operated a real estate business continuously since then. He joined a development company in 1988 and worked as Vice President of Marketing. In 1991, he became a partner and developed over $500 million worth of commercial real estate in those ventures. In 1998 he purchased his partner’s interest and began developing projects independently. Including all projects, he has developed or managed almost $1 billion worth of projects.
Ben received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Air Force Academy and a Masters in
Public Policy from the University of Pittsburgh. He was an intern in the Nixon White House. He then served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force
for seven years on active duty and for 13 years in the reserves, retiring in 1993.
Ben serves on the Board of
Jesuit High School and is involved in fund raising activities for multiple charitable organizations benefiting children and young adults.
